Hello there Jess! :) Happy Happy Birthday!!! Can’t believe you’re only 19! (And many people in this blog will agree xD) And I’m gonna be turning 21 this year! :O (But let’s not think about that!) How’s your day coming along so far? I hope you enjoy this little something I’ve prepared for you! Of course, I couldn’t have done this without the efforts of all the people who posted, so I would like to take this moment to thank them all! (haha parang advertisement or thanking sponsors part :P)

Thank you Jess! I still can’t believe how this all happened! :] You very well know what I’ve gone through in the past :) And I’m really glad I got the chance to get to know a great person like you! You’re cute, sweet, smart, kind, fun to be with and easy to talk to! We get along well and I know I can always be myself whenever I’m with you. Thanks for always brightening up my day, Jessie :) And even though you claim to be a ninja and also a flying giraffe, you’re still the same Jess I came to know and love. :P

We’ve known each other for over eight months already – time flies, right? But I know I enjoyed every single moment of these memories spent together. I wouldn’t have it any other way :)

There’s so much more I can tell you in this blog, but I know I won’t have to put them all here right now. It doesn’t have to be your birthday when I want to tell you how I feel. I could always do that later, tomorrow, next week or any day for that matter!

Instead, I’ll just place some pictures to remind you about what we’ve gone through :) And I assure you, I would never ever forget each of these memories... (even though I always forget my dreams, and you don’t because you have imba memory skills!) xD

I find it hard to write a long and meaningful birthday message for you given the fact that we've only known each other for a while. Nevertheless, you always bring around a ray of sunshine with you, adding some more color to the Celadon Room. As one gets older, reality begins to set in some more and you start settling for less. I promise it's short.

Birthdays are very strange things, when you really think hard about it.

It means that none of your ancestors were harmed in any way that would prevent them from reproducing properly. Which means that all of them reached puberty and got it on before going on to the next wonderful world of the afterlife.
There was no "crushing", "maiming", "eviscerating", "defenestrating", or "blunt testicular traumatizing" involved.
It also means that during the next 9 months after they "got it on", you as a sperm were lucky enough to squirm and find a wonderful receptacle of an egg (to get on your feminine side). It also meant that you were faster, better, perhaps larger and more ruthless, and thus were the first to get there, flushing the millions of other losers down the drain.
It also means that as a random collection of cells, you were able to come together in a power-rangers style assortment of interlocking specialized cellular systems to not only provide vital organ function but also more than enough so that you could see, hear, taste, feel, walk, breathe, eat, drink, sleep, and otherwise enjoy life in the way that about 70% of the rest of humanity is allowed to do.
It also means that you have been breathing, eating, and touching a world that is full of probably-lethal bacteria, and surviving. 

There are dozens and dozens of unnoticed miracles of life that we have all probably experienced at this point in time. But you know, numbers mean crap when you think about it, so let us just agree upon the fact that you have achieved an arbitrary level of growth in terms of physical, mental, and psychological maturity. You have, in a certain sense, "leveled up", and have grown in your stats by some predetermined yet random roll of God's (for that matter, any other greater-than-life manifestation that could somehow determine or at the very least witness the laws of physics put forth) million-sided set of dice. You have kicked it into the next gear, set yourself up for the next course, screwed the clock up another 365 and one-fourth of a day to the next wonderful moment where you can stick flaming shafts of wax-filled goodness into a circular (or square, if you're the Goldilocks variety) block of sugary confection ladled with the love and joy your loved ones could shell out with a 500 peso bill and say to yourself that you'll let it go just this one time and silently promise to yourself to get on that exercise machine and sweat your behind off for the next two weeks. 

In a sense, birthdays can be very meaningless events. But we all know that man is not made of logic alone, and that because there is some magic in the beginning of a life, there must also be a trace of that magic when people come together to be able to remember that life as it trudges, crawls, runs, walks, flies - so long that it continues, and that it continues with the pride that is passed down to us from the parents who have birthed us.

Happy birthday Jess, and I'm saying happy birthday because there is nothing you could be more proud of than the day you were born.

So, how did it all start anyway? I can't really remember. I tried filtering through my memory bank and, guess what, I phailed! xD But who cares? Well, I don't care. All I care about is that after that fateful day where we met in the Celadon Room, I found the lovely-est, pretty-est, crazy-est, wacky-est, wonderful-est sister in the whole wide world! xDDD

Through lazy afternoons lying on the Celadon couch...

Through VH-isms, Twilight-isms and pirate-isms...

Through rum, gold and Jojogambooboo...

Through squawking parrots, RAWR-ing captains, rum bottles and vanishing pirate ninjas...

Through UAAP, Blue Eagle Gym and a cockroach...

Through late night talks in the guys' room talking about what else?...

Through romantic 1030 walks from CTC to Faura then to MVP...

Through strawberries and bukos...

Through girafeefees and tiggers...

Through crazy camwhoring, playing dress up, and wild running around campus...

Through gaahs, draaahs, kiam-moys and MaoZeDongs...

I look back on my 9 months well spent and say to myself: "I'm never letting go of this sister of mine. Never." Why? Coz I love her that much. And I'll always want the best for her, right now, until forever.

To my #2!

I have many lovers. Most of them are girls, which most people (especially my boyfriend) find very strange. This has led to a various number of pretend-triangles, followed by pretend-spats and pretend-marriages, pretend-everything... and really, yeah, basically. Pretend.

And then I one day asked, after asking various others, "Will you be my valentine too?" Because being alone kinda sucks. And then I got my number 2!

She's tall.

And very talented. See next Chinoy issue, with the birds singing on the wire, which weren't supposed to be on a wire, but they just FIT. Like a lot of things in life. Like a certain leaf that I know was falling until number 2 caught it and put it back on the tree, whatever that metaphor means. See Cat mugs, and the mouse cupcake, scrumptious-looking thing, something that I swear will someday be popular and have its own line of merchandise.

She likes to paint nails, and is so fun that her energy is tiring. Creative-- understatement, I remember pieces of rolled-up paper that ended up on her hair, lovely. Just like when she smiles, and lights up the room.

And kind. Never jealous. Like the definition of love. Loves her equally-talented sister, and loves everyone who is willing to love her back. Not that's its hard to. Probably why she has a lot of people who do. And nothing beats 19 years of being loved, and being loved by people who love you back, yes?

She doesn't try hard at it. She just is. She's just Jess. And she's great that way.

So my dear #2, happy birthday. I LOVE YOU FOREVAH. :D

I remember asking myself "who the heck is silver8dream on Multiply??" back when I was writing UAAP posts. I was never one to actually go on click on the link to see whom it was, so whatever info I got was gleaned from looking at the user pic.

"Ok, it's a girl."

"She seems to be a contact of my Celadon friends"

"Her icon is very pink."

"You know, I should really just ask the Celadon people."

So, she's Sheena's cousin ("oh yeah she did some Chinoy stuff last year"), and she hangs out with Chuck, Lence, Nox, Honey and everyone I hang out with ("which either means she has very good taste in people or very bad taste in people, I'm not sure which it is, haha!"). I might as well add her up.

It's not often one builds a friendship online (well, it's not NORMAL is what I mean), but even though I've only really hung out with you a few times in person, I can say with utmost confidence that you're a really fun to hang out with and funny person! Not only that, you're extremely talented AND you're a parrot so how great is that???
